Meet Marnie McKnight!
Our 2026 Feature Artist.
Local Sutherland Shire artist Marnie McKnight will be joining us at the Oyster Bay Art & Craft Festival 2026. An internationally collected artist, Marnie burst onto the scene in 2016 with striking abstract works and has earned acclaim for her Light Reading series — a captivating exploration of the connection between art and literature.
We had the pleasure of visiting her studio last week, interviewing her, and seeing her incredible talent up close — and we can’t wait for you to experience her storytelling creations at the festival!
A finalist in the SBS Landscape Prize, Online Portrait Prize, and Bluethumb Art Prize, her work is frequently showcased in exhibitions and highly sought-after at sell-out art fairs.
Thank you, Marnie, for supporting our local school, festival, and community — your support truly makes a difference. Marnie has very generously donated a piece to our auction, and you’ll be able to view her work up close from Friday night at the launch party!
Join us for a weekend of creativity, colour, and community!
Since 1970, the Oyster Bay Art & Craft Festival has brought together students, families, and the local community for a weekend of fun, creativity, and community spirit — all while supporting valuable resources for Oyster Bay Public School.
Discover a stunning gallery of local and student artwork, explore vibrant market stalls, enjoy rides and games for the kids, feast on delicious food, and experience live entertainment all weekend.
The festivities kick off with a special Friday night launch party and continue through Saturday and Sunday with performances, raffles, and activities for all ages.
There’s something for everyone!
Thanks to the generosity of our local businesses and supporters below, we can continue to provide exceptional learning experiences and opportunities that make a real difference for the students at Oyster Bay Public School.
Our Sponsors
Our Community Champion
Some supporters become part of the story — and Sanders has been part of ours from the very beginning.
In The Shire since 1957, Sanders has built lasting relationships through trust, care, and local knowledge. As a family-oriented business, they don’t just work here — they show up, give back, and support local schools, families, and events year after year.
We’re incredibly grateful for their ongoing support and proud to celebrate them as a true pillar of our community.
